Celebrate White Linen Night at Aunt Sally's!

White Linen Night 2015

Aunt Sally's is thrilled to be a White Linen night sponsor.
Stop by our 750 St. Charles Avenue location from 6:30 - 9 p.m. and enjoy refreshing drinks, light bites and original artwork from six local artists!

Artists John Fesken, Linda Berman, Juliette Hare O'Connor, Cynthia Tobey, Emory Nolan and Michael Ledet present their assemblage and mixed-media works.

Linda Berman

Her 3D multimedia sculptures combine clay, wood, metal, wire, and found objects to create works that often deal with dark subjects and religious themes.

John Fesken

He works in multimedia, creating edgy yet restrained, story-based pieces with vintage photographs, frames, and found objects like old toys.

Juliette Hare O'Connor

She draws on her New Orleans heritage to create moody, nostalgic assemblage work that includes shrines and eerie fetish pieces.

Emory Nolan

He works in a variety of media and has garnered acclaim for some of his dreamy, acrylic-on-canvas New Orleans scenes.

Michael Ledet

His colorful modernist images often allude to Matisse and other artists famous for collage.  He focuses on spaces, objects, and icons, and has also designed fine-art books for more than 50 years.

Cynthia Tobey

Inspired by South Louisiana and the creatures that inhabit it, she paints beautiful local landscapes as well as creates one-of-a-kind dolls from little bits of fabric, felt, netting and rick-rack.

We're excited to have Rick Tobey of the Chickened Blues in the house!

He'll be playing some original blues tunes!  If you're a blues lover and you haven't heard Rick Tobey, you might just discover a new favorite musician on White Linen Night.

Stop by in your finest white linen Saturday, August 1st.  We can't wait to see you!
